At Moshav Moldet in northern Israel, AGEERA deployed a 1.7 MWh REN (MingYang) behind-the-meter battery energy storage system, designed to optimize the site’s renewable generation and secure uninterrupted power for agricultural and light-industrial operations. Fully managed by AGEERA’s AI-powered Energy Management System (EMS), the project provides precise control over charging, discharging, and grid interaction in real time.

Optimized Solar Utilization:
By storing excess daytime solar output for evening use, renewable energy consumption increased by roughly 40%, reducing dependency on the national grid.

Peak-Shaving and Cost Efficiency:
Dynamic load management and rate arbitrage lowered electricity costs by up to 25%, improving energy economics across irrigation, cooling, and production systems.

Reliable Backup and Grid Resilience:
Autonomous edge controllers switch to backup mode within 50 milliseconds, protecting pumps, cold storage, and control equipment from outages.

This project highlights AGEERA’s turnkey EMS + BESS capabilities for agricultural and rural environments—enhancing operational reliability, sustainability, and long-term cost efficiency.
