Our Amsterdam site is a strategic hub experiencing rapid growth. As we scale our Netherlands operations, we are looking for a motivated, independent, and versatile Field Service Engineer & Sales Support specialist to play a pivotal role in our expansion.

This unique dual-hat role bridges the gap between technical execution and business development. You will be the technical face of AGEERA in the field — supervising electrical installations and project execution, while simultaneously empowering our Amsterdam sales team with pre-sale technical support.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Project Execution & Supervision

  • Lead, manage, and supervise on-site execution and contracting works within the electrical field for BESS installations.

Field Operations

  • Travel to customer sites and project locations across the Netherlands to handle commissioning, troubleshooting, and field service requirements.

Pre-Sale Support

  • Actively support the sales process by providing technical expertise, assessing site feasibility, and assisting in technical pre-sale activities and client presentations.

Independent Management

  • Demonstrate strong self-reliance and ownership of tasks, working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Cross-Functional Liaison

  • Serve as a reliable technical link between local customers, the Amsterdam sales hub, and the global engineering teams.
Qualifications & experience

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Solar, Renewable Energy, BESS, or commercial energy projects — Mandatory
  • Strong background in electrical installation, contracting, project management, and site supervision — Mandatory
  • Professional certification or degree in Electricity, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications — Significant Advantage
  • Valid European driving license (Category B) and willingness to travel — Mandatory
  • Valid VCA certification and familiarity with NEN 3140 / NEN 1010 Dutch electrical standards — Highly preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Netherlands/Benelux region

Technical & Digital Skills

  • Solid knowledge of industrial communication protocols: Modbus, TCP, MQTT, Ethernet — Mandatory
  • Highly proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace and AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) — Mandatory
